Vol 1 " The Foundations" covers Queens formation in 1971 at Imperial College to the sensational presentation of their best single of the last 25 years award for Bohemian Rhapsody. It includes unseen archive footage of the band as well as reminiscences from famous fans such as Paul McCartney and Jackie Stewart There are early recordings of 'Keep yourself Alive' and 'Liar' as well as the first Top of the Pops appearance (Killer Queen)
Vol 2 " Live Killers in the Making" From the first outbreak of "Queenmania" on their Japenese tour of 74 to the bands performance in front of 325,000 in Rio De Janeiro in 1985. This volume traces Queens developement as a live band with never before seen footage of many of their major shows. There are hilarious excerpts from Korean, Brazilian, American and Japenese TV with interviews the band have been confronted with over the years. Further comments and quips come from Jeff Beck, David Bowie and Ringo Starr.
Vol 3 " Crowned In Glory" Queens appearence at Live Aid kicks off this portrait of the group's massive 1986 European tour.It follows the the tour trail from 2 sell out shows in Wembley Stadium via their first gig behind the Iron Curtain in Budapest to its triumphal conclusion in front of 120,000 fans at Knebworth. Footage shows Queen preparing for playing and partying to unwindwith individual band members revealing views of the touring life. Comments come from ardent fans and anecdotes from roadies, security men and promoters.
