When the great early 1970's British band, featuring singer Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke, performed at the Isle of Wight Festival on August 29, 1970, only 18 minutes of their remarkable performance was actually recorded. Many fans consider this concert to be the band's best, and the three filmed songs--"All Right Now," "Be My Friend," and "Mr. Big"--are lovingly compiled on THE BEST OF FREE, along with seven rarely seen studio performances.
